Intermediate English proficiency. Other desirable (non-mandatory) requirements: Knowledge of another language Restaurant, hotel, wines Core competencies (per our competency dictionary): Commitment to PHG and alignment with its corporate culture Adaptability to change Customer orientation through excellence Teamwork and cooperation Continuous learning Results/objective orientation Friendliness, courtesy, and professional appearance Discretion**Main Functions and Responsibilities** --------------------------------------------- Follow hygiene and sanitation instructions provided by supervisors. \-Support waitstaff in food and beverage service and sales, where applicable, and perform other tasks assigned by supervisors. \-Assist in preparing assigned work areas for service. \-Inform supervisors of stock levels and essential purchases required for proper departmental operation. \-Collaborate in setting up and dismantling the dining area. \-Support waitstaff in handling customer complaints, inform supervisors, and resolve issues within one’s capacity. \-Support waitstaff in issuing invoices and collecting payments from customers per established procedures. \-Perform food and beverage service and sales, where applicable, and other tasks assigned by supervisors, in a qualified, autonomous, and responsible manner. \-Prepare assigned work areas for service. \-Ensure maximum customer satisfaction during their stay. \-Be knowledgeable about hotel facilities and the destination. \-Understand applicable hygiene and sanitation regulations for the department and relevant APPCC prerequisites.
