Job Summary: We are seeking an ENG camera operator to capture images, manage lighting and sound, document recorded material, and perform pre-editing tasks, working without a script when necessary. Pre-editing and editing processes for short-format news We are looking for an ENG camera operator based in Madrid, with a full-time training contract for six months, extendable up to one year. Responsibilities include operating video cameras—fixed or portable—in studio or on location; capturing footage for audiovisual pieces while ensuring proper lighting and sound; and documenting recorded material. The candidate must also be capable of working without a prior script when required, following direction from the production team. Additionally, pre-editing tasks such as ingestion or digitization will be performed, and occasionally short-format news items will be edited jointly with the reporter. A Higher Technician Diploma in Audiovisual and Performing Arts Production, Lighting, Image Capture and Processing, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication is mandatory, along with a valid driver’s license. Proficiency in office software, experience as a camera operator in news programs, familiarity with the Sony Z\-280 camera, and video editing software are desirable.
