At **Logicalis Spain**, we are looking to hire a **Senior SQL Server Administrator** to join our Infrastructure and Managed Services team. We seek a professional with extensive experience in administering Microsoft SQL Server environments, focused on optimization, automation, and continuous improvement of critical platforms, participating in both managed services and technology transformation projects. **Responsibilities:** * Administration, maintenance, and support of Microsoft SQL Server platforms. * Installation, configuration, upgrading, and patching of SQL Server instances. * Database, capacity, storage, and performance management. * Administration of backups, restores, and recovery plans. * Management and support of high-availability environments (Always On Availability Groups and Failover Clustering). * Diagnosis and resolution of complex incidents. * Optimization of database and query performance. * Automation of tasks using PowerShell and T\-SQL. * Creation of technical documentation and root cause analysis (RCA). * Participation in migration, consolidation, and platform modernization projects. **Minimum Requirements:** * At least 5 years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Administrator. * Experience administering SQL Server 2016, 2019, and/or 2022\. * Knowledge of backup and recovery administration (Backup \& Recovery). * Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. * Proficiency in T\-SQL. * Experience working in on\-premise, virtualized, or cloud environments. * Technical English proficiency. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with Windows Server. * Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID. * Experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and Microsoft 365\. * Knowledge of Azure or AWS. * Experience in automation using PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform. * Knowledge of virtualization (Hyper\-V or VMware). * Microsoft, Azure, AWS, or SQL Server certifications. **What do we offer at Logicalis Spain?** Logicalis Spain is an international group with over 20 years of experience in the IT sector, engaged in large-scale projects and services across Data Centers, Cybersecurity, and Analytics. * Stable employment position. * Remote work mode. * Flexible working hours. * Birthday holiday \+ personal day off. * Access to flexible compensation plans (meal card, transportation card, childcare). * Private Medical Insurance, Wellhub. * Significant discounts on various services and training programs for Logicalis employees (retail, electronics, travel, etc.). * Role-specific training and certifications. * Professional development through cutting-edge projects and current market technologies.
