We are looking for a candidate with experience in the logistics sector and machinery operation to join our team at the Port of Tarragona. Your main responsibilities will include assisting on the cutting line, ensuring metal packages are properly strapped so they remain securely fastened and ready for transportation or storage. As a forklift driver, your role will be critical in swiftly moving metal sheets throughout the warehouse and port facilities. This position requires someone capable of organizing and performing tasks independently, ensuring smooth operations. You will be responsible for correctly handling and positioning materials, as well as maintaining order and safety in your work area. Effective collaboration with colleagues will be essential to achieving daily goals and ensuring productive operations. Initiative and adaptability to varying shifts and port service requirements will be highly valued. Your role will be vital to the logistics chain and the efficient functioning of port operations. A strong work ethic, trustworthiness, and responsibility in all tasks are expected. Professional training in logistics will be considered an added advantage for your professional growth. Valid forklift operator license. Minimum one year of verifiable prior experience in similar positions. Commitment and responsibility. Medium-level Vocational Training qualification. Knowledge and authorization to operate five types of forklifts.
