Mystery Project is seeking, for a growing industrial client, an Industrial Controller to lead the financial control of the plant and help maximize efficiency and profitability. **Location:** Zamora (hybrid model: 1 day remote/week) **Contract:** Permanent · Full-time **Salary range (approximate):** 30,000 - 35,000 € gross/year depending on experience Your mission Transform industrial operational data into clear and actionable decisions: budgeting, cost analysis, inventory monitoring, and generating indicators that improve plant margin and efficiency. What you will do (impact and responsibilities) **Budget & forecast:** prepare the annual budget and quarterly revisions; propose adjustments in response to deviations. **Analytical accounting and costs:** calculate and update standard and actual costs (raw materials, direct labor, energy, depreciation), analyze profitability by product/cost center. **Inventory & valuation:** ensure inventory integrity (cycles, adjustments, shrinkage) and proper valuation. **Operational KPIs:** design and maintain plant dashboards (OEE, scrap, yield, cost/hour) and lead improvement plans with production and maintenance teams. **Closures and reporting:** prepare monthly plant closings and provide management reporting with clear insights and recommendations. **Bills of materials and process changes:** keep bills of materials up to date and simulate impacts of new recipes, batches, or shifts. **Compliance & audits:** support internal/external audits and ensure adherence to accounting and tax regulations. **Business partner:** act as the “partner” to the Plant Manager and Finance team in investment decisions (CAPEX) and expense control. **Desired skills and knowledge:** +5 years of experience in management control/cost accounting within an industrial environment (production plant). Solid foundation in analytical accounting, budgeting, KPIs, and variance analysis. Advanced proficiency in Excel/BI tools and experience with ERP systems (any major platform). Ability to work with imperfect data, critical eye, and results orientation. Clear communication, organization, and autonomy; teamwork with Operations and Finance. Additional pluses: Professional English (not essential). Experience implementing dashboards or continuous improvement projects (Lean/Kaizen). Knowledge of standard costing in series/batch production.

Provide center collaborators with adequate knowledge and application of quality processes, offering on-site advice to internal customers (for example, ensuring proper execution of industrial tests).
