SECOND CLASS MECHANIC

Description

A mechanical workshop located in Alcarràs is seeking a Second Class Mechanic for immediate incorporation into a stable team. The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out vehicle maintenance and mechanical repair tasks under the supervision of the workshop manager. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance operations on vehicles. Diagnose medium-complexity mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment. Dismantle, repair, replace, and assemble mechanical components (brakes, suspension, steering, transmission, and exhaust system). Carry out oil, filter, belt, battery, and other periodic maintenance replacements. Verify proper vehicle operation after repairs are completed. Interpret technical manuals, work orders, and basic schematics. Collaborate with First Class Mechanics on more complex repairs. Maintain order, cleanliness, and good condition of tools and the workspace. Comply with safety regulations, occupational risk prevention, and environmental protection standards. * 24 months of experience. Demonstrable prior experience of 1 to 2 years in similar tasks as a Second Class Mechanic in a workshop is required. * FP MEDIUM GRADE QUALIFICATION * Competencies / knowledge: Required qualification: Medium Level Vocational Training Cycle (CFGM) or Higher Level Vocational Training Cycle (CFGS) in Automotive Engineering, Automotive Electromechanics, or equivalent. * Driving license: B * Permanent employment contract * Full-time working hours * Gross monthly salary: 1521 * Other relevant information: Driving license B (car) required for vehicle testing. Full-time schedule of 8 hours per day. Split shift from Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Annual gross remuneration of 21\.300 € (distributed across 14 payments, approx. 1\.521 € gross per month).
