We are looking for a **Naval Engineer** with cross-disciplinary experience to assume the role of **Technical Design Lead** in **Defense** naval projects. You will serve as the project’s technical reference within your domain, responsible for: * Making key technical decisions, * Integrating and coordinating design across disciplines, * Ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and cost control, * Reporting to the Project Director. Coordination will prioritize the following disciplines: * Structures * Piping / HVAC * Electrical / Combat Systems * Equipment & Outfitting **Your mission will be to ensure design consistency throughout engineering phases, as well as its accurate transfer to manufacturing, integration, and testing where applicable.** **Main Responsibilities** * Represent technical competence in meetings with clients, shipyards, and classification societies. * Propose optimal technical solutions aligned with requirements. * Integrate key disciplines: Structures, Piping/HVAC, Electrical/Combat Systems, Equipment & Outfitting. * Manage interfaces, design configuration, and changes. * Identify, communicate, and manage technical risks. * Ensure quality and timeliness of technical deliverables. * Establish and apply checklists, criteria, procedures, and workflows. * Drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives. * Optimize utilization of technical resources. * Respond to deviations. **What We Offer** * Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to better balance personal life. * Hybrid work model (on-site and remote). * Continuous professional development. * Competitive compensation. * Participative, inclusive, and dynamic workplace culture—we love teamwork! * Join the place where engineers love to work **Requirements:** --------------- **Requirements** * Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Naval and Ocean Engineering (or equivalent). * +5 years of experience in naval design (civil or military), with technical coordination responsibilities. * Experience in shipyards or technical offices. * Knowledge of IMO/SOLAS, MARPOL, IACS; experience with military standards (MIL STD 901D, MIL STD 167, MIL STD 461, STANAG) is desirable. * Proficiency in engineering tools: FORAN / AVEVA Marine (E3D) / Cadmatic / NAPA / Siemens NX. * Skills: technical leadership, communication, decision-making, interface management. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in defense projects. * English level B2+. * Knowledge of Teamcenter/PLM, Siemens NX, Rhino/Orca3D, AutoCAD. * Experience in configuration management, change control, and formal reviews.
