This position focuses on the daily operations of a fish retail establishment. Key responsibilities include direct customer service, responding to customer inquiries about products, providing recommendations, and ensuring high-quality service. It also involves order preparation, including weighing, packaging, and labeling fresh fish according to customer specifications. Another core task is fish preparation for sale, ranging from basic cleaning tasks to more specialized cuts, ensuring products are attractively and hygienically presented in the sales area. Additionally, the role includes operating the cash register, processing payments, handling cash, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. The job requires maintaining order and cleanliness in the work area, strictly adhering to food safety protocols, and contributing to the overall shop environment to ensure a positive customer experience on every visit. A work contract totaling 30 hours per week is offered. The scheduled working hours are from 7:30 to 13:30, Tuesday through Friday. This schedule allows for extended weekends. The position is based in a retail environment, with activities centered on customer service and handling fresh products. Previous verifiable experience in a similar customer-facing role is required, preferably within the retail or food sectors. A high level of proficiency in both Catalan and Spanish is essential for fluent communication with customers and colleagues. The minimum educational requirement is Compulsory Secondary Education. Practical knowledge related to the fishmonger trade is considered an asset.
