The Role: At Stanley Black & Decker, we are seeking a Commercial Technician for the Modern Trade channel—self-motivated, dynamic, eager to learn, and committed to teamwork. Candidates must possess solid technical knowledge of the tools, DIY, and construction markets, along with strong commercial acumen. Interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities will be highly valued. Proficiency in computer tools—particularly Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)—is required. You will support Commercial Managers with your technical expertise. Experience in the mass retail market is an advantage. Key Responsibilities: * Organize trainings for store sales staff of key customers; promote and conduct product demonstrations for end customers, in coordination with the Sales Manager and Regional Commercial Manager. * Present and train on new product lines across all brands and product families. * Participate in customer events, delivering product demonstrations and sales support (e.g., van, canopy, product samples, brochures, catalogs, merchandising materials, etc.). * In-store implementation: assist in installing displays in retail spaces; support rollouts of new product lines or store renovations; communicate campaign messaging. * Special focus on professional product lines and brands: mastery of technical specifications and applications of tools across various scenarios (DIY or construction environments). * Profession-specific events: promote special in-store events targeting construction-related trades—plumbers, carpenters, electricians, drywall specialists, residential/commercial renovation professionals. You will manage your own schedule autonomously, in coordination with the Sales Manager and Commercial Managers. Proven experience driving commercial vans is essential, as this will be one of your primary work tools.
