We are looking for a **lifeguard** for our **L'Hospitalet Nord Sports Centre**, with a proactive and user-focused attitude, responsible for ensuring safety and proper use of the facilities.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Ensure users comply with facility regulations.
* Identify and prevent risk situations that may compromise the safety of users and staff.
* Inform and advise on the proper use of spaces and equipment.
* Active surveillance and constant monitoring of the water surface.
* Administer first aid and follow accident protocols when required.
* Conduct visual inspections of the facility and report defects.
* Track and record defects.
* Manage first-aid materials (inventory, expiry dates, condition of items).
* Monitor oxygen room pressure (if applicable).
* Provide direct user assistance: resolve queries, offer advice, and provide information on risks.
* Use management software (Trainingym, Virtuagym or similar).
* Maintain visible, identifiable presence and courteous interaction with users.
* Advise members on available training options.
* Follow internal procedures and the centre’s Work Plan.
**Requirements**
* **Mandatory:** Lifeguarding course.
* **Mandatory:** Registration certificate from the **ROPEC** (Official Register of Sports Professionals of Catalonia).
* **Desirable:**
* Bachelor’s or undergraduate degree in CAFE
* Higher Vocational Training Cycle (CFGS) in Physical and Sports Activity Animation
* Non-academic training related to the workplace
* A **disability certificate** will be positively considered.
* Ability to follow internal procedures and adapt to service needs.
**Schedule: 17 hours/week**
* Tuesday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
* Thursday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
* Friday: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
* Saturday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
**Conditions**
* **Start Date:** Immediate
* Indefinite part-time contract
* **Gross monthly salary:** €630.93 gross per month for 12 monthly payments.
