Job Summary: We are seeking a warehouse assistant to manage order receipt, preparation, and shipment; inventory control; and return management in the metal industry. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive warehouse and product logistics management. 2. Use of computer tools for order management. 3. Handling of material handling equipment and verification of materials. We are looking for a warehouse assistant for a metal industry company located in the Pla De l'Estany area. Responsibilities will include receiving orders to prepare shipments, locating products, and preparing them for dispatch in accordance with established procedures. The role also involves packaging materials using appropriate machinery and operating computer systems to monitor and record shipping operations. Additional duties include receiving materials, unloading them, verifying quantities, and identifying possible damages. The candidate will perform unpacking, positioning items within the warehouse, and operating material handling equipment. Furthermore, the candidate will manage the receipt and supervision of returns, handle non-conforming deliveries (including complaints or incidents), and conduct physical inventory counts. Proficiency in computer tools for warehouse management is required, including monitoring Robomag system operation for order placement and ensuring correct palletization. Working hours are full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a split shift schedule with legally mandated breaks. * Minimum one year of relevant experience. * We seek a responsible individual with a positive attitude. * Residence near the workplace is desirable. Fluent spoken and written Spanish and Catalan. * Forklift operator license.
