**Occupational Health and Safety Manager**

At Sinergia Talent, we are seeking an **Occupational Health and Safety Manager** (OH&SM) to join the team in Seville of a leading company specializing in the design and construction of renewable energy power plants, aiming to strengthen its commitment to employee safety and well-being.
**Job Mission:**
The primary mission of this role is to **enhance Occupational Health and Safety** across all activities carried out at the company’s construction sites. To achieve this, the OH&SM will comprehensively define, manage, collaborate on, and advise regarding all processes related to occupational health and safety.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Reporting directly to the General Management, the OH&SM will be responsible for:
* Providing support and strengthening the implementation of occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
* Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the company’s Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, ensuring alignment with current regulations and industry best practices.
* Conducting thorough risk assessments across various construction sites and project phases, identifying potential hazards and proposing effective preventive and corrective measures.
* Supervising the application of on-site safety regulations, ensuring compliance with safety and health plans and operational procedures.
* Investigating incidents, accidents, and near-misses, determining root causes, and proposing actions to prevent recurrence.
* Designing and delivering occupational health and safety training to all personnel, tailoring content to the specific needs of each group.
* Advising senior management and project teams on all matters relating to occupational health and safety.
* Collaborating closely with site managers, subcontractors, and labor authorities to ensure a safe working environment.
* Managing occupational health and safety documentation, including permits, licenses, records, and audits.
* Promoting a proactive safety culture throughout the organization, encouraging participation and commitment from all employees.
* Monitoring and analyzing key occupational health and safety performance indicators, preparing periodic reports for senior management.
* Staying up to date with legislation and trends in occupational health and safety, especially within the renewable energy sector.
REQUIREMENTS
**Minimum Requirements:**
* **Technical Academic Background:** A university degree in Technical Engineering, Senior Engineering, or Engineering Bachelor’s degree is required.
* **Specialized Training:** A Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention covering all three specialties (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology) is mandatory.
* **Experience in Management Systems:** Demonstrable experience in defining, maintaining, and improving Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
* **Professional Experience:** Minimum of **3 years’ experience** in similar roles or areas related to occupational health and safety.
* **Industrial Environment Experience:** Prior experience in occupational health and safety within an industrial setting—preferably in construction or energy sectors—is highly valued.
* **Languages:** Strong command of English (advanced level), both written and spoken, for communication with international teams and understanding technical documentation.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Familiarity with regulatory frameworks specific to the renewable energy sector.
* Experience managing subcontractors’ occupational health and safety (OH&S) compliance.
* Additional certifications in occupational health and safety.
