The fischer PowerFast II FPF II CTP BC 4.5x60 is a blue-passivated galvanized screw with partial thread and TX 20 drive. The electro-galvanizing process contains no hexavalent chromium and is therefore highly environmentally friendly. The countersunk-head screw can be flush-mounted into the surface of wood. The PowerFast II with high-performance wax coating reduces screwdriving torque and also enables screwing close to the edge without any issues. The particleboard screw exhibits significantly reduced pull-through behavior compared to other commercially available screws. The 36 mm long partial thread allows for firm pulling-in of wooden components. The PowerFast II particleboard screw is suitable for fastening load-bearing components in coated wood, hardwood, softwood, and for wood-to-wood connections or metal-to-wood connections, such as metal fittings, angles, beam shoes, and other metal-and-wood connections.
