Their primary objective will be to collaborate in identifying, controlling, and eliminating accident risks across all operational tasks and activities. This role involves ensuring compliance with internal regulations and current management systems, actively contributing to a safe working environment for both internal employees and personnel from external companies. **Key Responsibilities and Functions** **Permit Management and Activity Coordination (CAE):** * + Manage and issue Work Permits for special tasks, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal instructions. + Manage contractor documentation and coordinate activities with external companies. * **Operational Inspection and Control:** * + Conduct field inspections and controls using corporate "Check\-Lists" (tools, machinery, first-aid kits, emergency equipment, etc.). + Carry out Planned Job Observations (PJOs) to detect unsafe behaviors or procedural improvements. + Manage the action plan derived from identified on-site risk conditions. * **Administrative and Procedural Management:** * + Update and define new occupational safety procedures. + Prepare Monthly Safety Reporting Reports for the Company. + Manage safety-related work orders. * **Prevention and Training:** * + Develop preventive measures according to company standards, prioritizing safety during planning of any work. + Collaborate in delivering safety training and daily start-of-shift briefings (*Toolbox talks*). + Actively participate in occupational accident investigations. + Support internal and external audit processes. * **Procurement and Supplies:** * + Request quotations and manage procurement of new safety and protective equipment. **Key Relationships*** **Internal:** Production and Maintenance Departments. * **External:** Contracting companies and service providers. **Education and Knowledge:*** **Studies:** Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering. * **Languages:** English level B2 (minimum) \- Ability to manage documentation and reports in this language. * **Desirable Knowledge:** Specific training or foundational knowledge in Occupational Risk Prevention (ORP) and Industrial Safety. **Competencies and Soft Skills:*** **Proactivity and Autonomy:** Ability to anticipate problems and work independently. * **Communication:** Excellent communication skills for delivering training and conveying safety rules. * **Organization:** Ability to manage documentation, permits, and deadlines. * **Teamwork:** Smooth collaboration with various departments and contractors. * **Decision-Making:** Sound judgment to prioritize safety in risk situations.
