The professional assigned to this position will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of electrical maintenance tasks within an industrial environment. Their primary duties will involve performing preventive and corrective maintenance on the plant's electrical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal and uninterrupted operation. This includes installing new components, repairing faults, and conducting periodic inspections to identify potential failures before they occur. In addition, they must ensure that all interventions strictly comply with established safety protocols and that appropriate personal protective equipment is used at all times. Another essential aspect of the role involves continuously assessing the condition of machinery and electrical installations. The technician must analyze equipment performance, diagnose issues, and propose improvement or repair recommendations to the maintenance department head. This function is critical for optimizing production processes and preventing unplanned downtime. They will also be responsible for maintaining order and cleanliness in the workshop and spare parts warehouse, managing the inventory of tools and components required for daily interventions. Finally, after each intervention on any equipment, the professional must verify that the machinery is in perfect operational and safety condition, ready to resume production. The position requires full dedication to assigned tasks and fluent communication with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities without interfering with production schedules. Working hours will follow rotating shifts covering morning, afternoon, and night periods. A Higher Vocational Training qualification (Formación Profesional de Grado Superior) or a Higher-Level Vocational Training Cycle (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) in electricity and/or electronics—or equivalent technical training—is required. Prior experience of at least two years performing electrical maintenance in an industrial or production plant environment will be positively valued. Availability to work rotating shifts covering morning, afternoon, and night periods—adapting to the facility's operational needs—is mandatory.
