Position Summary:
Employment counsellor for young people, designing integration pathways, delivering workshops, and coordinating with companies to enhance their employability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implementation of customized employment integration pathways.
2. Continuous mentoring and follow-up of young people throughout their process.
3. Collaboration with companies and organizations to facilitate employment integration.
**Description:**

* Conduct individual diagnostic interviews to identify competencies, interests, education, experience, and potential barriers to employment access.
* Design and implement customized integration pathways, establishing realistic goals and concrete actions to improve each young person’s employability.
* Deliver employment guidance activities, including CV writing and enhancement, cover letter preparation, active job search, interview preparation, and use of digital tools.
* Deliver or coordinate group workshops on social skills, transversal competencies, motivation, communication, basic digital skills, and other topics aimed at professional development.
* Provide continuous follow-up of participants, accompanying them throughout the entire process, reinforcing motivation, and adjusting the pathway as needed.
* Prospect and coordinate with companies to identify job opportunities, manage job offers, perform intermediation, and facilitate young people’s entry into the labor market.
* Mediate between participants and training institutions to ensure access to courses, certifications, internships, or other professional training activities.
* Record and document all interventions in the program’s monitoring systems, prepare periodic reports, and monitor compliance with mandatory timelines and hours.
* Coordinate with other professionals and entities within the employment ecosystem, social services, or youth services to ensure comprehensive intervention.
* Provide emotional and motivational support, working on attitudes, expectations, and self-confidence to foster engagement and sustained participation in the pathway.
**Requirements:**

Academic Qualifications
* University degree in social or educational fields: Psychology, Pedagogy, Psychopedagogy, Social Work, Social Education, or equivalent.
* Additional training in employment guidance, coaching, social intervention, youth employment, or professional development.
Experience
* Minimum 1 year of experience in employment guidance, youth intervention, or employment programs.
* Experience in projects funded by public administrations or European funds (e.g., POEJ, PICE, Youth Guarantee, integrated programs, etc.) is desirable.
* Experience delivering workshops, group sessions, or training for employability.
Professional Competencies
* Ability to conduct interviews and analyze professional profiles.
* Skills in planning, follow-up, and individual mentoring.
* Knowledge of job portals, digital tools, and recruitment processes.
* Ability to handle situations involving low motivation, personal difficulties, or barriers to employment access.
* Capacity to work with objectives, indicators, and outcomes.
* Communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable Technical Knowledge
* Familiarity with programs such as SAE, Youth Guarantee, POEJ, PICE, or Integrated Employment Projects.
* Knowledge of the local business landscape and territorial resources.
* Proficiency in office software and user management systems.
