If selected, your mission will be to guarantee the accurate, timely, and legally compliant preparation and management of the company’s payroll, ensuring data quality, process efficiency, and fulfillment of labor, tax, and Social Security obligations. As part of the Compensation and Payroll team within Human Resources at Alcampo’s Central Services, your responsibilities will include: * Managing and supervising the full payroll cycle (calculation, review, and closing) for all employees. * Ensuring strict compliance with applicable labor, tax, and Social Security regulations governing payroll management. * Coordinating employee onboarding/offboarding, contractual changes, incidents, sick leave/work-related injuries, vacations, variable pay components, bonuses, and flexible compensation. * Managing relationships with official bodies (Social Security, Spanish Tax Agency [AEAT], Mutual Insurance Companies, State Public Employment Service [SEPE]). * Coordinating tasks with other members of the payroll team, establishing objectives and best practices. * Providing support to employees and managers regarding payroll and compensation inquiries. * Preparing payroll reports and KPIs for HR Management. * Verifying and validating payroll calculation results. * Addressing queries and clarifications from store teams. * Maintaining, in coordination with the wider HR and store teams, updated shared files and supporting documentation. * Supporting internal and external audits related to payroll processes. * Assisting in the management of Flexible Compensation. * Actively collaborating in identifying and proposing improvements to payroll processes to optimize efficiency and accuracy. We’d love to meet you if you’re passionate about retail, food, and people — and if you have: * Academic background in Labor Relations, Work Sciences, Business Administration, or higher vocational training in related fields. * At least 1 year of experience in payroll or personnel administration. * Proficiency with payroll platforms. * Experience handling overtime, incapacity cases, absences, and leaves. * Knowledge of labor legislation and Social Security regulations. * Experience calculating vacation payouts, interest, bonuses, and severance payments. * Advanced Excel skills. * Team-oriented mindset. * Strong analytical ability and high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in calculations and information. * Working hours: Monday–Thursday, 9:00–18:00; Friday until 15:00, with flexible start/end times. * 1 remote workday per week (Tuesday–Thursday)...
