Description

We are seeking a cook to work at a nursing home in Gijón (Asturias). The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing meals according to production technical sheets, preparing food to ensure a balanced diet, and addressing residents' special dietary needs. They will also assist with placing orders and managing warehouse stock. A food handling certificate is required for this position. Prior experience as a cook in institutional catering settings will be valued, as well as having a personal vehicle or other means of transportation to reach the facility, due to shift schedules and lack of public transport during those hours. Employment conditions include an indefinite full-time contract with immediate start. The schedule follows a rotating shift pattern over three-day cycles: three morning shifts from 07:00 to 15:00, three afternoon shifts from 14:00 to 22:00, and three days off. Salary will be determined in accordance with the sector's collective bargaining agreement.
