Perform vessel maintenance **Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental matters, seeks to hire 1 Vessel Master for the island of Gran Canaria. **Workplace Location** -------------------- * Las Palmas Address: Puerto Rico\-Mogán **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Command and dispatch a vessel with a minimum length of 12 meters * Supervise inspections before Maritime Authorities and manage vessel documentation * Collaborate in scientific monitoring activities conducted onboard * Carry out maneuvers and vessel maintenance tasks **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the requirements and/or merits must be substantiated by completing evaluation tests and/or attaching the necessary documentation in the “Annexes” section of the registration questionnaire. The Tragsa Group reserves the right to request at any stage of the process the supporting documents for the data declared in the application, as well as to require additional information from the curriculum vitae whenever necessary to verify the requirements and/or merits detailed in this job vacancy. ### **Education** #### **Qualifications** * Hold one of the following qualifications: Higher Technician in Maritime Transport and Deep-Sea Fishing, or Higher Technician in Navigation \- Fishing and Maritime Transport (qualification officially recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) ### **Prior Experience** * At least 1 year performing duties as a professional Vessel Master on vessels with a minimum length of 10 meters ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid ISM medical certificate for seafaring * Valid sanitary training certificate * Valid fire prevention training certificate * Valid basic safety training certificate * Valid non-rapid rescue boat training certificate * Availability to work variable shifts **Merit Criteria (Evaluated)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * Training in vessel maintenance (certifiable via certificate or course syllabus) * Qualification in crane operation ### **Prior Experience** * Between 1 and 7 years performing duties as a professional Vessel Master on vessels with a minimum length of 10 meters (documentarily verifiable) **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term substitution contract with an estimated duration of one month, depending on the triggering event + Full-time working hours.
