Due to our growth and expansion, we need to hire a **Building Engineer** for the **Infrastructure Division** in Gran Canaria**.** Reporting directly to the **Division Delegate**, your **mission** will be **to carry out supervision and review of construction projects**. Your main **responsibilities** will include: * Review and control of execution projects or existing buildings. * Site visits: blocks, single-family homes, primarily civil infrastructure. * Structural calculations for projects. * Review and control of works during execution phase. * Material control (review of related test results and/or quality control certificates). * Supervision of ten-year insurance policies required from developers and/or subcontractors. * Issuance of OCT reports. * Preparation of execution control, watertightness, and installation reports. * Project review for compliance with the Spanish Technical Building Code (CTE). What **requirements** are needed for this position? * Degree in Construction Engineering, Building Engineering, Civil Engineering (…), or Technical Architecture. **(Officially recognized qualification in Spain is mandatory.)** * Valid driver’s license. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role and/or experience as an OCT or with construction companies. * Experience in Occupational Health and Safety Coordination or a Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) covering all three specialties is desirable. * Residency near the workplace.
