As our valued Technical Support Officer within Technology Services you will sit in the Strategy \& Technology team. You will make an impact by: * Deliver efficient frontline technical support by resolving common IT issues for staff and students across university systems and devices. * Ensure smooth operation of technology platforms and equipment, including desktops, mobile devices, classroom AV, and collaboration tools. * Maintain accurate service records and documentation, contributing to continuous improvement of knowledge bases and support processes. * Uphold security and service standards by following established procedures, escalating complex issues appropriately, and providing clear user guidance and training. **What you will bring** The person will bring solid technical knowledge, strong problem\-solving skills, excellent customer service, clear communication, and attention to detail to effectively support university technology systems and users. To succeed in this role, you will also need: * Associate Diploma level qualification in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience * Strong technical knowledge of operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic networking to effectively troubleshoot common IT issues. * Excellent customer service and communication skills to provide clear, patient support to diverse users and explain technical concepts simply. * Attention to detail and procedural compliance to ensure accurate documentation, security, and consistent service delivery. **Why Southern Cross University** SCU is proudly a regional university, young, small and vibrant. The base salary ranges from $75,500 \- $81,079 per annum (full time equivalent), plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation.
