Description
We are seeking a cook in Santiago de Compostela with a passion for gastronomy and a desire to apply culinary skills in an environment that contributes to people's well-being. The position involves preparing full menus for 120 residents, including breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner, always prioritizing quality and nutrition. Daily responsibilities include managing kitchen orders to ensure ingredient stock levels, maintaining and rigorously cleaning work areas to guarantee hygiene, and collaborating with other kitchen staff. In addition, proper food storage will be supervised in compliance with established regulations. Culinary training, food handling certification, and prior experience in institutional catering are required. Flexibility for rotating shifts and a proactive attitude to propose improvements are essential. A permanent contract is offered, with a weekly working schedule of 15 hours, rotating shifts, salary according to the collective agreement, and additional compensation for Sundays and public holidays.
