Working at heights and operating elevated work platforms We are seeking maintenance personnel for Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. A Medium or Higher Vocational Training qualification in Electricity, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or Plumbing is required, depending on the service activity. Certification for working at heights, operating elevated work platforms, RITE (Reglamento de Instalaciones Térmicas en Edificios), and training in high- and low-voltage systems are mandatory. Knowledge of occupational risk prevention, quality, and environmental management is desirable. Responsibilities include maintaining thermal installations, oil- and gas-fired boilers, electrical panels, and standalone equipment. The role also covers maintenance of domestic hot water storage tanks, electronic and security systems, mechanical door opening mechanisms, and the electrical system from the transformer substation to the low-voltage distribution panel. Additionally, maintenance of fire protection systems, scanners, arc detectors, and water purifiers—including cleaning and minor repairs—will be performed. This is a temporary part-time position. Working hours are from Monday to Sunday, with rotating shifts covering morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
