Job Summary: We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician with industrial electricity experience for ASTICAN, performing electrical, electromechanical, and electronic work at the shipyard and on vessels. (ASTICAN) is a privately owned naval repair shipyard staffed by experienced professionals, whose core activities include the repair, maintenance, and conversion of all types of vessels, structures, and equipment for marine renewable energy and offshore units. The shipyard commenced full operations in 1976 with modern facilities, notably featuring a Syncrolift dry-docking system capable of lifting vessels up to 36\.000 TPM, along with seven dry-docking lanes meeting the quality and service standards demanded by shipowners and enabling assistance with minimal lead time. **Position:** ----------- Do you have industrial electricity experience and are motivated to develop your career in the naval sector? At Astican, we are looking to hire an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Plant and Maintenance team—a key position essential to the smooth operation of our facilities and activities. Your primary mission will be to perform the necessary electrical, electromechanical, and electronic work required for shipyard maintenance. Your main responsibilities in this role will include: * Performing electrical work at the shipyard and onboard vessels. * Installing and maintaining fixed and temporary electrical systems. * Participating in vessel launching and docking maneuvers (Syncrolift system installation). * Coordinating tasks with external collaborating companies. * Managing tools, materials, and basic warehouse tasks. **Requirements:** --------------- What we need from you: * Higher Vocational Training (FP) Degree in Electricity and Electronics (mandatory!) * Basic level of English. * 5–8 years of experience in industrial environments or the naval sector. * Solid knowledge of: * Low-voltage electrical installations. * Electric motors and transformers. * Interpretation of basic electrical schematics.
