We are currently seeking a Speech Therapist to join our CADI SAN JOSE LONGUERAS center located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where you would carry out the following functions: Conduct initial assessments of communication, language, and swallowing disorders of users using standardized tests, in coordination with the rest of the team, and establish rehabilitation goals according to the assessment within the Care and Life Plan (PAyV) and the Individual Care Plan (PIA), where these activities will be recorded and tailored to each user. Design speech therapy treatment plans according to the individual objectives defined in the PAyV and PIA of each user. Implement individualized guidelines for the prevention and/or correction of communication or swallowing deficits specific to the user's care. Design and plan the most appropriate individual and group therapeutic activities and interventions for each resident based on individual user assessments. Develop annual schedules for speech therapy activities and participation in them, both inside and outside the center. Assess and monitor the effectiveness of the intervention and achievement of objectives. Design, implement, and evaluate preventive actions for communication and language disorders. Instruct caregiving staff on feeding guidelines to follow with users who have swallowing difficulties. Apply speech therapy treatments using the most effective and suitable methods, techniques, and resources for each user. Select and implement alternative and augmentative communication systems adapted to users' physical, psychological, and social conditions, facilitating their learning. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Therapy We offer: 94.8% full-time schedule Work schedule from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 15:00, with alternate Saturdays once a month, taking the following Monday off.
