Procurement Technician – HIDRAMAR SHIPYARDS

**Hidramar Shipyards is seeking a Procurement Technician to join our team in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.** If you are an organized individual with negotiation skills and experience in purchasing and supplier management, we would like to meet you. Key Responsibilities * Procurement management of materials, equipment, and services required for project execution. * Requesting and comparing supplier quotations. * Negotiating prices, delivery schedules, and supply terms. * Issuing and tracking purchase orders. * Coordinating with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Logistics departments. * Monitoring delivery deadlines and resolving supplier-related incidents. * Identifying, evaluating, and qualifying new suppliers. * Cost monitoring and procurement optimization. * Document management and database updates. Requirements * Degree in Administration, Commerce, Logistics, Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 2 years’ prior experience in purchasing or procurement departments, preferably in industrial or shipbuilding environments. * Intermediate-to-advanced level of English (B2 or higher). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. * Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Navision, Business Central, or similar) is desirable. * Strong organizational, negotiation, and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in the shipbuilding, industrial, or metallurgical sector. * Knowledge of technical materials used in shipyards. * Ability to work in environments handling multiple concurrent projects.
