27431, Diagonal Cutting Pliers

For cutting soft and hard wires up to Ø 4 mm, the Wiha Professional 27431 electrician’s diagonal cutting and stripping pliers are an indispensable tool for any craftsman’s toolkit. The pliers’ DynamicJoint ensures optimal transfer of manual force to the cutting edges and delivers up to 20% greater cutting force. Precision pliers with a semi-circular head shape produce clean cutting edges, while ergonomically shaped pliers handles enable comfortable, fatigue-free operation. Long-lasting cutting edges with additional induction hardening achieve a cutting edge hardness of approx. 64 HRC. The rear cutting edge area near the pliers’ joint is suitable for medium- and hard-diameter wires; the front cutting edge area is intended for soft wires. Blade tips are also equipped with precision wire-stripping notches for solid-core conductors of 1.5 mm² and 2.5 mm². The high-quality chrome-plated pliers surface provides protection against oxidation, ensuring exceptional durability. The Professional 27431 insulated pliers are individually tested to 10,000 V AC, VDE and GS certified, enabling safe operation on live parts up to 1,000 V AC.
