We are seeking a technically minded individual with strong analytical capabilities and a results-oriented mindset to contribute to the operational excellence of our production facility.
As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in defining, developing, and optimizing maintenance strategies, ensuring maximum equipment performance and the best possible efficiency from a total cost of ownership perspective.
**What Will Be Your Mission?**
You will collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities, reduce risks, and increase asset availability and reliability.
**Your Key Responsibilities:**
Risk and Priority Management
* Identify long-term improvement opportunities to enhance equipment reliability.
* Analyze asset criticality and prioritize risks with the greatest impact on safety, production, and costs.
* Review historical and performance data to detect recurring or high-cost failures.
Maintenance Strategy Development
* Design and implement maintenance strategies aimed at maximizing equipment availability and performance.
* Conduct technical-economic analyses and cost-benefit studies to support proposed actions.
Monitoring and Continuous Improvement
* Monitor performance indicators and losses associated with critical assets.
* Drive preventive and improvement actions based on data.
* Measure and document the impact of implemented improvements, including economic savings where feasible.
* Define reliability metrics and standards to evaluate equipment performance.
Failure Analysis and Problem Solving
* Lead root cause investigations to eliminate recurring and critical failures.
* Develop sustainable solutions that improve reliability and reduce incident recurrence.
Participation in Investment Projects
* Collaborate on capital projects related to reliability and maintainability improvements, as well as the introduction of new equipment.
* Provide reliability-related technical input across design and implementation phases.
**What Are We Looking For?**
* University degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 2 years of professional experience, preferably in process industry or heavy industrial environments.
* Familiarity with CMMS tools (e.g., Oracle), and/or maintenance and reliability methodologies.
* Experience with international technical standards and regulations (e.g., UNE, ASME, API) is desirable.
* Advanced level of English.
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across various organizational functions.
* Analytical, proactive profile focused on problem solving through root cause identification and implementation of effective solutions.
