At Deloitte, we are committed to generating impact for society, our clients, and you. **Key Responsibilities:** **End-to-end Oracle (11g/12c/19c+) administration:** installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades. **Advanced Exadata operations (on-prem/Cloud@Customer):** optimization (Smart Scan, HCC, Storage Indexes), IORM, and capacity management. **High availability and disaster recovery (DR):** RAC, Data Guard, RMAN; periodic recovery testing. **Performance & tuning:** SQL/PLSQL, ASH/AWR, statistics, and execution plan analysis. **Security:** hardening, auditing, encryption/TDE (where applicable), role management, and least privilege. **Automation/standardization:** scripting (Shell/PLSQL), runbooks, monitoring, and alerting. **Secondary support:** SQL Server / PostgreSQL / MariaDB; NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis; Elasticsearch/OpenSearch). Collaboration with platform/VMware, networking, and application teams; documentation and continuous improvement. **Requirements:** 5+ years as an Oracle DBA in production and mission-critical environments. Proven experience with Exadata and the Oracle ecosystem (RAC, Data Guard, RMAN). Advanced Linux/Unix and scripting (Shell). Advanced performance tuning (AWR/ASH) and SQL/PLSQL optimization. Experience in backup/restore, DR, security, and L3 incident management. **Preferred Qualifications:** Oracle certifications (OCP) and/or Exadata; knowledge of OCI. Secondary experience administering SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB/MySQL. Knowledge of NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra) and caching/search technologies (Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch). **Automation/DevOps:** Ansible/Terraform, CI/CD, IaC; observability (Prometheus/Grafana, ELK).
