At Rhenus, we are seeking a Traffic Operative. **Mission:** As a specialist in freight transportation and logistics, you will ensure the efficient and timely delivery of goods. This role is vital to proper transport management, communication with transport service providers as well as correspondents and partners, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. The Traffic Operative is responsible for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs. The Traffic Operative may handle International Traffic, Automotive Traffic, and/or Domestic Traffic (Mainland Spain, Islands, and TRW). **Key Responsibilities:** 1\- Manage transport routes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. 2\- Review vehicle and driver scheduling and allocation. 3\- Monitor transport KPIs and implement adjustments as needed. 4\- Implement and maintain Transport Management Systems (TMS) as a specialist. 5\- Properly manage transport service providers. 6\- Maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers. 7\- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety policies. 8\- Maintain accurate records of all transport and logistics activities. 9\- Manage and resolve incidents related to freight transportation. **Minimum Requirements:** * Experience as a Traffic Operative or in similar roles. * Experience in transport and logistics or trade (national/international) is recommended. * In-depth knowledge of transport management processes and systems. * Practical knowledge of transport management software tools (TMS). * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Organizational and team management capabilities. * Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently. **What You Bring** ----------------------- **RHENUS OVERLAND TRANSPORT** is an equal opportunity employer.
