**Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Reason for Hiring** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of the TRAGSA GROUP specializing in engineering, consultancy, and technical assistance services in agricultural, livestock, forestry, and environmental fields, seeks to hire 1 Forestry Engineer on the island of Tenerife. **Work Location** -------------------- * Santa Cruz de Tenerife **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Field and office work for technical and environmental control and monitoring of forestry operations in Tenerife **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the requirements must be substantiated by attaching the following documents, as applicable, in the “Annexes” section of the application (or during the selection process): * Official academic degree certificate or proof of payment of fees for issuance of the academic degree. * Employment record and/or employment contract verifying and certifying the required professional experience. * Academic internship annexes verifying and certifying the required academic experience, where applicable. ### **Education** #### **Academic Qualification** * Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering, a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry Engineering and Natural Environment, or a Technical Engineering Degree in Forestry (MECES Level 2) (degree recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities). ### **Other Mandatory Requirements** * Valid Class B driver’s license **Merit Criteria (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * Documented training of at least 25 hours in GIS tools—ArcGIS and/or QGIS. * Documented training in Occupational Health and Safety Coordination. ### **Prior Experience** * Between 1 day and 1 year of verifiable professional experience as a forestry technician/engineer in silvicultural treatments applied to pine forests and lowland woodland (Canarian pine forest and/or laurel forest), to be verified during the technical interview. * Between 1 day and 1 year of documented work, internship, or external practice experience in GIS within the last 5 years, to be verified during the technical interview. **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term substitute contract with an estimated duration of 3 months, depending on the triggering event. + Full-time working schedule.
