**Positions Available** ---------------------- 1 **Company** ----------- Tragsatec **Project / Hiring Reason** --------------------------------- Tecnologías y Servicios Agrarios, S.A., S.M.E., M.P., a subsidiary of TRAGSA GROUP, specialized in engineering, consulting and technical assistance activities in agricultural, livestock, forestry and environmental matters, is seeking to hire 1 Captain of Vessels (La Palma) in La Palma (SantaCruzdeTenerife) **Work Location** -------------------- * La Palma (SantaCruzdeTenerife) **Functions and Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Captain a 12-meter vessel with two 450 CV engines * Handle and manage vessel documentation and certificates with the Maritime Authority * Organize and assist in vessel maintenance tasks and other duties assigned by the Administration * Write daily activity reports within the marine reserve **Specific Requirements** -------------------------- Compliance with the requirements must be justified by attaching the following documents in the "Attachments" section of the application (or during the process), as applicable: * Official certificate of qualification or proof of payment of fees for the issuance of the academic degree. * Employment record and/or employment contract that verifies and certifies the required professional experience. * Internship attachments that verify and certify the required academic experience, if applicable. ### **Education** #### **Qualification** * Hold a Higher Technician qualification in Navigation - Fishing and Maritime Transport, or Higher Technician in Maritime Transport and Deep-Sea Fishing, or Technician in Fishing and Maritime Transport (qualification recognized in Spain or equivalence certificate issued by the General Secretariat of Universities) #### **Additional Training** * Basic training certificate * Non-rapid rescue boats * Advanced specific medical training ### **Previous Experience** * At least 2 years of experience as captain of vessels of at least 10 meters in length ### **Other Essential Requirements** * Valid Class B driver's license * Valid medical certificate from the Social Institute of the Sea * Updated maritime registration booklet * Valid fire safety training certificate **Merits (Evaluable)** ------------------------ ### **Education** #### **Additional Training** * Accredited training in Word and Excel (course) * Training in vessel mechanical aspects (accredited through certification or coursework) ### **Previous Experience** * From 2 to 8 years performing duties as captain and vessel documentation handling on vessels of at least 10 meters in length with engines of at least 900 CV (accredited) **Observations** ----------------- * Offer includes: + Fixed-term contract estimated at 2 months, extendable up to a maximum of 9 months total, if applicable + Full-time: working on a one-week work/one-week rest schedule, totaling 10:45 effective hours per day with variable shifts Observations: The application submission period will be open from today, October 21, 2025, until October 27, 2025, at 23:59 (mainland time).
