The position involves performing assembly and preparation tasks for containment systems. Main responsibilities focus on working with large-format plastic materials. This process includes handling, cutting, and welding PVC tarpaulins and other synthetic materials, using specialized machinery such as hot-air or high-frequency welders. Precision in these operations is essential to ensure the final assembled product’s watertightness, durability, and strength. In addition to working with primary materials, the operator is responsible for installing anchoring and fixing systems. These systems—such as cables, tensioners, or weights—are critical for the proper deployment and functionality of barriers once installed at their final location. Installation must strictly follow the project’s technical specifications to guarantee effectiveness and safety. The role also entails the safe and competent handling of a variety of tools, both manual and electric, commonly used in construction and industrial assembly environments. Alongside productive tasks, the operator is responsible for maintaining strict quality control throughout the entire process, verifying that work is carried out according to established standards. Likewise, the operator must rigorously comply with all applicable occupational health and safety regulations at the workplace, contributing to a safe environment for the entire team. Finally, an important part of the job is maintaining order, cleanliness, and organization in the assigned work area, as well as basic care and maintenance of the tools and machinery used. Working hours follow a rotating shift schedule, covering morning and afternoon shifts from Monday to Friday. The initial employment is temporary. There is a real possibility of direct, permanent incorporation into the company’s workforce, based on demonstrated performance and the candidate’s competence during the temporary contract period. Minimum required education is Compulsory Secondary Education. Practical knowledge and experience in the basic use of common manual and electric tools for assembly tasks are required. Prior experience or proven ability in manual assembly work is considered a positive asset. It is mandatory to have personal transportation to commute to the workplace. A proactive attitude, willingness to work, and capacity to learn new processes are sought.
