Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced kitchen assistant to support the preparation of traditional dishes and side dishes, and to assist in various culinary services while maintaining cleanliness and order. Maintaining cleanliness, order, and hygiene regulations in the kitchen We are looking for a kitchen assistant for a hotel in Utebo, Zaragoza. The position requires demonstrable prior experience, specifically at least 12 months as a kitchen assistant. Additionally, possession of a food handler’s certificate is mandatory. Specific culinary training will be considered a plus. Main responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of traditional dishes, such as peeling, cutting, and cleaning ingredients. The role also involves preparing side dishes, stocks, basic sauces, and cold dishes, as well as supporting breakfast, buffet, banquet, and restaurant service preparations. Maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, utensils, and surfaces, along with strict compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations, will be routine tasks. Receiving, inspecting, and properly storing goods are also part of the duties. A permanent full-time contract is offered. Working hours will be split shifts, from 11:00 to 16:00 and from 20:00 to 23:00, with possible future shift adjustments. Please note that the hotel remains closed during the month of August. Salary will comply with the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The workplace is located in Utebo.
