At Ovum, a company dedicated to manufacturing vaccine substrates, we are seeking a Laboratory Manager to lead the setup, management, and development of our laboratory facilities. **Main Responsibilities** * Implement, coordinate, and supervise microbiology, serology, and molecular biology techniques for the control of specific agents. * Perform and validate molecular biology assays, including PCR, as well as serological techniques (ELISA, VN, HI, AGP, EIA). * Develop, implement, and maintain the laboratory's quality system. * Validate methods, equipment, and processes, ensuring their reproducibility and compliance with applicable regulations. * Draft and review standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure their proper implementation. * Prepare and manage internal and external audits. * Coordinate and train laboratory personnel, ensuring the team's technical development. **Requirements** * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Veterinary Medicine, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related fields). * Demonstrable experience in managing microbiology or molecular biology laboratories. * Advanced knowledge of serological and molecular biology techniques applied to microbiological agent control. * Experience in method and equipment validation. * Leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills. * Advanced level of technical English. **Desirable** * Knowledge of GMP/GLP regulations. * Experience in production or quality control environments within biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries. **We Offer** * Opportunity to join a growing project with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. * Permanent contract and competitive salary based on experience. * Opportunities for professional development within the organization.
