Would you like to join an industry-leading company? **We’re looking for you!** We are seeking an **Engineer** to develop into an **Authorized Control Body (OCA) Inspector**, specializing in **fire protection systems and low- and high-voltage electrical installations**. You will join an experienced technical team that will support you step-by-step in your development as an OCA inspector. You will have the opportunity to acquire specialized knowledge and become a highly qualified professional. Your responsibilities will include: **Fieldwork at Industrial Facilities and Buildings** * Accompany—and subsequently conduct—**OCA regulatory inspections** of: + **Fire Protection Installations (FPI)**: detection systems, extinguishing systems, hydrants, fire hose reels (BIEs), sprinklers, etc. + **Thermal Installations (RITE)**: air conditioning, heating, domestic hot water (DHW), energy efficiency, etc. * Verification of compliance with current regulations and safety standards. * Identification of deviations, anomalies, or critical issues requiring correction. **Documentation Management and Report Preparation** * Collection of data and evidence during inspections. * Drafting of **technical reports** with rigor and quality, following OCA procedures. * Submission of reports to clients and administrative follow-up of each case file. * Internal processing of documentation to ensure traceability of each inspection. **Stakeholder Communication and Continuous Learning** * Direct communication with clients for clarifications, technical explanations, and coordination of site visits. * Ongoing internal training to develop inspection criteria, regulatory knowledge, and technical skills. * Active participation within an **expert team**, where you will receive the necessary support to advance professionally. **Requirements** * Degree in Technical Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. * Prior experience in similar roles is desirable. * Experience or knowledge in the **electrical or installation sector** will be valued. * Intermediate level of English. * Enthusiasm for learning, growing, and developing within the field of regulatory inspection. **Additional Information** *At SGS, as part of our firm commitment to promoting equal opportunities and respecting diversity, we ensure that all our selection processes are conducted objectively, impartially, and fairly—and free from any form of bias or discrimination.*
