Position Summary: Citogen is seeking a Forensic Laboratory Technician to join its team, performing DNA analysis and library preparation for NGS. Key Highlights: 1. Joining a leading and dynamic company. **Citogen**, a laboratory with over 20 years of experience, specialized in Clinical, Forensic, and Reproductive Genetics and committed to innovation and excellence at the service of its clients, is recruiting: **Forensic Laboratory Technician** Responsibilities: As part of the forensic team, after an initial training period, the candidate will assume, among others, the following responsibilities: * Sample receipt and registration. * Performing DNA extraction and quantification assays. * Performing capillary electrophoresis analyses. * Performing library preparation assays for NGS. * Maintenance and management of the workstation. Profile: * Higher Technician in Laboratory Sciences or in Anatomical Pathology is required. * Minimum two years’ prior experience in a laboratory setting, specifically in NGS techniques, genetics, and molecular biology. * Competencies include proactivity, communication skills, technical rigor, flexibility, organizational ability, and teamwork. * Languages – English (Advanced level\-B2\) * Proficiency in office software as a user.
