Job Summary: We are seeking a machine operator for the metal industry, responsible for operating and supervising punching machines, ensuring part quality and workplace order. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operation and supervision of punching machinery. 2. Ensuring quality and proper finishing of metal parts. 3. Maintaining order and proactively reporting incidents. We are looking for a machine operator to join a metal industry company located in Vilanova de la Barca. The selected candidate will be responsible for placing metal sheets or parts into the punching machine according to production instructions. Correct placement and alignment of each part prior to initiating the punching process is essential. Duties include operating the machine—either by pressing a button or pedal to perform punching—and continuously monitoring the process to ensure resulting parts are correct and free of defects. Additionally, the candidate will remove finished parts and place them in the designated area or container. The role requires maintaining order and cleanliness in the work area, as well as proactively communicating any incidents or anomalies detected in the machinery. This is a part-time position of 40 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Friday during morning shifts, with working hours between 07:00 and 13:30, including legally mandated breaks. * Minimum six months’ experience performing similar tasks. * We seek an active, team-oriented, and versatile individual. Proximity of residence to the workplace is desirable. Fluent spoken and written Spanish and/or Catalan. Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) or equivalent.
