**YOUR PROJECT ASSIGNMENT** TEICON ENGINEERING invites you to join an ambitious project in Tarragona, where a state-of-the-art facility for the production of industrial gases is being built. This position offers you the opportunity to lead scaffold-related activities in a large-scale project including superstructures for the production of methane and ethylene, destined for export to the United States. * **Project location**: Tarragona, Spain * **Start date**: December 2025 * **Planned completion**: April 2027 * **Contract type**: Temporary contract or freelance collaboration * **Duration**: Minimum 18 months, with possibility of extension * **Working hours**: 56 hours per week, 6 days per week **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES** * Coordinate and supervise all scaffold-related activities on site, ensuring safe and efficient execution in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards. * Collaborate with site management, safety departments, and contractor companies to plan, approve, and monitor the installation, modification, and dismantling of scaffolds. * Verify that scaffold structures comply with design, stability, and safety criteria before use and after any modifications. * Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure proper labeling, inspection, and handover of scaffolds. * Support the development of scaffolding plans and schedules in coordination with discipline supervisors and contractors. * Ensure all scaffolding operations comply with site safety procedures, legal requirements, and project specifications. * Conduct periodic inspections of scaffold work and propose corrective actions when necessary. * Participate in coordination meetings and contribute to safe work planning and risk assessments. * Promote best practices in scaffold safety and participate in continuous improvement initiatives on site. **YOUR PROFILE** * You have vocational or university education in a relevant technical field such as Scaffold Erector, Mechanical Technician, Industrial Mechanic, Plant Technician, Drafter, Construction Technician, or a university degree such as Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management. * You have several years of practical experience in scaffold coordination, supervision, or erection within industrial, petrochemical, or energy projects. * You are familiar with scaffold systems (e.g., Layher, Peri or similar), inspection and approval processes, and general site safety regulations. * Relevant certifications such as CISRS Scaffolding Supervisor/Manager Training, OSHA Construction Safety, or equivalents are valued. * You have proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage interfaces, and maintain clear communication within multinational site teams. * You have a good command of English; knowledge of Spanish and prior experience in Spain are an advantage. * You are proactive, safety-conscious, and possess a structured, solution-oriented mindset, ensuring high-quality, standards-compliant execution on site. * **It is essential to submit your CV in English to be considered for the selection process.**
