We are seeking a Junior Java Developer (m/f/d) to strengthen our technical team in Madrid or Ciudad Real, contributing to the growth and further development of our products as well as internal technological improvement initiatives. **What will you do?** --------------------- * Design, development, and maintenance of modules in Java 8 / Java 17 and OpenJDK * Work with Hibernate and QueryDSL for the persistence layer * Implement SOAP and RESTful services using the Spring Framework * Document code and technical processes clearly and systematically * Contribute to optimizing SQL queries and improving database performance * Participate in internal improvement projects by reusing our existing product base * Use tools such as Jira and Jenkins for development management and automation * Contribute to the technological migration from SVN to Git and short-term integration of Docker * Effective communication in English (documentation, meetings, international collaboration) **What are we looking for?** ------------------- * Solid experience in backend development with Java 8 and OpenJDK * Advanced knowledge of Hibernate, QueryDSL, and the Spring Framework * Experience working with SOAP and REST services * Ability to document code and technical processes clearly * Intermediate-level English proficiency (minimum B2), especially in written form * Experience in + Optimizing SQL query and database performance + Refactoring and continuous code improvement + Participating in internal projects for technical improvement * Knowledge of or interest in tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Git, SVN, and Docker I am personally available to answer any questions: stephan.bischof@xplain.ch Please send me your complete application documents.
