Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for an AI and NLP expert to define how PROCESIA’s AI solutions understand and speak—building tools that comprehend human language.
Key Highlights:
1. Challenge: shaping AI that understands language.
2. Being part of a team co-designing end-to-end solutions.
3. A highly visible project with strong technological and innovative demands.
What if your job were to decide **how the AI solutions used by thousands of people speak and understand language**?
That is the core of this role:
We seek someone who enjoys both fine-tuning a model and debating the best prompt, the appropriate metric, or the type of explanation needed by a non-technical user.
**Who are we?**
At **PROCESIA**, we build solutions where AI stops being a buzzword and becomes assistants, intelligent search engines, support systems, and tools that understand human language. We work on high-impact projects with teams comprising highly technical and highly functional profiles, where each person contributes their perspective on how AI should behave.
**The challenge: shaping AI that understands language**
We are not looking for another data profile—we seek someone who constantly asks: “Does this model truly understand what the user means?”
Your domain will be text: from long documents to short queries, from prompts for LLMs to metrics measuring whether AI responds correctly.
You’ll enjoy it if:
* You move naturally between Python, pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, and aren’t afraid to open a notebook and explore textual data from scratch.
* You’ve spent several years building NLP solutions (classification, entity extraction, semantic search, summarization, etc.), not just reading papers.
* You’re especially interested in generative AI: RAG architectures, LLMs such as GPT, LLaMa, or Mistral, embeddings, fine-tuning, and evaluation of large models.
* You enjoy explaining results to non-technical audiences, seeking clear examples and visualizations that tell the model’s story.
**What will you do day-to-day?**
You’ll join a team also including Python Consultants, architects, and other Data Scientists, with whom you’ll co-design end-to-end solutions.
In practice, you’ll be responsible for:
* Designing and training NLP models—both classical and Transformer-based—to solve concrete problems (search, classification, extraction, summarization, etc.).
* Preparing and understanding textual data: cleaning, normalization, annotation, defining business-relevant labels and metrics.
* Building and improving generative AI solutions based on RAG, working with embeddings, context retrieval, and prompts for models like GPT, LLaMa, or Mistral.
* Collaborating closely with the development team to integrate your models into APIs and services running on Kubernetes and CI/CD environments.
* Clearly documenting what the model does, its limitations, and how to evolve it—ensuring knowledge isn’t confined solely to code.
**What experience we require**
This is **not a junior role**; you’ll make decisions that define how key AI solutions behave.
Therefore, we seek:
* At least 7 years of experience in IT projects and 5 years working on large-scale data or artificial intelligence solutions.
* Several years of hands-on experience in NLP and data science with Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, visualization with matplotlib, seaborn, and notebooks).
* Demonstrable experience working with generative AI, LLMs, and RAG architectures—beyond one-off experiments.
* Valuable experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, observability, and vector databases, collaborating in teams with MLOps and backend profiles.
**What we offer**
Beyond the technical challenge, we want you to feel you’re in a place where you can grow and have your voice heard in how AI is built:
* A stable, highly visible project with strong technological and innovative demands in AI services.
* Hybrid work model with 33% on-site presence (**Pozuelo de Alarcón / Northern area**).
* Permanent contract, full-time schedule, hybrid/remote model, and flexible hours—making work-life balance real, not just aspirational.
* English classes from day one, support for technical certifications, and a personalized career plan designed so your architect profile continues growing every year.
* Three months of summer reduced working hours and reduced working hours every Friday, plus no work on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve.
* Private health insurance with no co-pays, a supportive and positive environment, free coffee and tea in the office, and a Management 3.0 model where your judgment matters and is heard.
* Competitive salary aligned with your experience and potential.
If you’d like your next step in AI to be more than just “more of the same”, this could be your opportunity
