Reach Truck Operator

Description

A reach truck operator position is available at a logistics warehouse in Ontígola, Toledo. The main responsibility is to safely and efficiently operate reach trucks, working with high-rise racking systems up to twelve meters tall. Order picking tasks are also performed using PDA terminals, ensuring accurate product identification and packaging. Additionally, general warehouse duties are supported, including shelf organization, truck loading and unloading, and maintaining order and cleanliness. Working hours are fixed afternoon shifts from Monday to Friday, with a weekly workload of forty hours. The initial contract is temporary, with quarterly renewal options, offering long-term stability. Candidates must have proven experience operating high-reach reach trucks, with precision and attention to detail to prevent order errors. Teamwork and adaptability are highly valued. A personal vehicle is required due to the location of the facility. No specific academic qualifications are required, but prior warehouse experience is essential. Valid forklift operator license, preferably authorizing operation of five types of equipment. Minimum six months’ experience operating reach trucks at heights up to twelve meters. Availability of a personal vehicle for commuting to Ontígola. At least one year’s experience in order picking using PDA terminals. Basic knowledge of warehouse organization and occupational safety. Ability to work effectively in a team and meet productivity targets.
