MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
Lead and manage military vessel training programs to achieve product/project objectives regarding scope, cost, schedule, and quality, optimizing processes and activities, technical resources, and human resources.
Technical coordination of training plan activities and courses.
Identify training needs for projects.
**Develop training plans:** coordination, implementation, and monitoring of the plan.
Participate in defining the tools required for training management.
Plan training courses.
Manage and control scheduled activities (courses) at training centers.
Manage documentation for training projects.
Review third-party technical documentation related to manuals and training.
Review/prepare necessary supporting documentation and equipment for training courses.
Manage project requirements by supervising their fulfillment throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage and coordinate with shipyards and military customers.
Coordinate with various departments/areas regarding the scope and participation in training courses.
Manage and coordinate services with suppliers according to contractual scope. Prepare and monitor reports, providing information and analysis on deviations, proposing corrective actions.
Draft Technical Purchase Specifications and associated documentation for procurement and service contracting.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with the project.
Request and report information to the project team to facilitate and expedite management of Project Planning, Costs, Scope, Risks, Quality, and Procurement.
Generate project/program and operational monitoring reports to support decision-making.
Request and collect information on potential customer claims, prepare reports and summaries, provide information and analysis on claims, and propose corrective actions.
Apply Quality procedures for managing training courses: attendance control, student evaluation, and performance analysis.
Serve as the Point of Contact (POC) for internal/external customers for one’s project(s).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any specialization)
Training courses to be considered during Phase 1 (Merit Competition) related to the position to be filled:
Project Management
EVM Training
Advanced Excel
Project Planning and Control (MS Project or similar)
JOB CONDITIONS
**Entry Level:** Minimum D2
**Contract Type:** Permanent
The selected candidate shall perform duties under the working hours regime applicable to the assigned position, which may include standard working hours, shift work, or any other special working hour arrangements stipulated in the current Collective Bargaining Agreement.
