Description
The position involves managing products within the warehouse, with a focus on order preparation using PDA technology. Key responsibilities include moving throughout the facility using various types of machinery to locate, pick, and place goods according to digitally generated order lists. This role is essential to ensure orders are completed accurately and efficiently, maintaining a steady workflow across the logistics chain.
The work environment is dynamic and requires constant attention to operational and safety details. You will collaborate with other team members to meet daily productivity targets. The position demands responsibility in operating equipment and strict adherence to established procedures for picking and inventory management.
This role directly contributes to the logistics cycle, ensuring goods are ready for subsequent dispatch. Candidates are expected to maintain a high level of organization and care when handling products—many of which may be heavy—always applying safety and handling regulations.
The offer includes a gross hourly wage of €13.85 and an initial weekly contract of 30 hours, with potential extension to 40 hours. Working hours follow a fixed shift schedule, either morning (6:00–14:00) or afternoon (14:00–22:00). Contracts are renewed fortnightly, with the possibility of transitioning to permanent staff.
A valid forklift operator license and demonstrable prior experience operating order-picking machinery are required. Practical experience using PDAs for picking tasks and operating electric pallet trucks is mandatory. Hands-on experience with reach trucks, stackers, and counterbalance forklifts will be considered an advantage.
