Job Summary: Ingeteam is seeking a Software Test & Validation Engineer to ensure the quality of converter software through the design and execution of manual and automated tests. Key Highlights: 1. Flexible working hours and work-life balance support Ingeteam, a leading company specializing in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, seeks to hire a Software Test & Validation Engineer for its Converters & Controls Technology Area in Zamudio. The role’s mission is to ensure that the electronic CCU product associated with the company’s power converter products meets established quality standards prior to launch/delivery, with a particular focus on validating the correct operation of the converter software. Main Responsibilities: * Design and execute various types of tests—both manual and automated—for the validation of automation solutions. * Analyze test results, identify defects, and communicate with the development team for resolution. * Automate repetitive and complex tests to improve testing process efficiency. - Collaborate with the HW/SW development team across all product lifecycle stages—from planning to delivery—to ensure quality from the outset. - Analyze and improve testing processes to optimize product quality. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Electronic and Automatic Engineering or related field. * Minimum English level: B2 * Experience in: PLC programming / LabView / Python language for test automation. Development of test protocols. Requirements management. * Knowledge of: Power topologies, converter control, and automation. Signal analysis. Field buses and industrial automation communication protocols: CAN, SERIAL, TCP, UDP, MODBUS, PROFINET, OPC UA ... * Goal-oriented, quality-focused, and problem-solving mindset. * Initiative. * Teamwork skills. * Willingness to travel and valid driving license B1\.ren teamwork, innovation, and quality- and results-oriented skills. Preferred qualifications: Preferred qualifications: * Basic knowledge of Matlab/Simulink. * Database knowledge. * SCADA systems knowledge. * Basic C/C\+\+ programming skills for autonomous development of control applications oriented to testing. * Experience using ECAD tools (ORCAD, ALTIUM).
