Senior Backend / Integration Developer (Java & Apache Camel)

We are leaders in digital technology services and deliver large-scale technological solutions to major corporations. **What are we looking for?** We are seeking a **Senior Backend and Integration Developer** with solid experience in **Java and Apache Camel**, specializing in microservices architectures and messaging environments, to work with one of our key clients — a leading company in the banking sector. Remote work model with occasional on-site visits to the client. **Key responsibilities:** * Migration of existing processes from TIBCO. * Creation of integration flows using Apache Camel. * Message transformation, format validation, and routing of data between source and destination systems. * Development and maintenance of robust RESTful APIs and backend services using Java. * Implementation of event-driven and messaging architectures using Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies. * Monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting of existing integration flows. **Technical requirements:** * Strong Java programming skills (versions 11, 17 or later). * Frameworks: Apache Camel, Spring Boot. * Messaging: Apache Kafka, JMS, ActiveMQ. * Architecture: Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Integration Patterns. * Cloud/DevOps environments: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, CI/CD deployments, and cloud platforms such as AWS. * APIs: Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI. * Agile methodology: Scrum/Kanban/JIRA. **Mandatory qualifications:** * Experience: Over 3 years of backend development with Java. * Specialization: Proven, hands-on experience with Apache Camel. * Ecosystem: Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices architectures. * Messaging: Fluent use of message brokers such as Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ, or RabbitMQ. * Databases: Experience with relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases. * Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum). **What do we offer?** * 23 working days of vacation plus December 24th and 31st. * Extensive social benefits (health insurance, remote work allowance, life insurance, accident insurance). * Flexible Compensation Program (meal card, childcare vouchers, transportation card, online English classes, health insurance for your family…). * Free access to multiple training platforms. * Job stability and professional growth. * Internal referral compensation program in place. * Option to receive your salary in either 12 or 14 installments. * Work-life balance measures (flexible hours, remote work, specialist support — psychologist, nutritionist, personal trainer — and shortened Friday and summer working hours, depending on the project). * UST Club platform offering discounts and gym membership discounts. **If you’d like to learn more, don’t hesitate to apply — we’ll contact you shortly to provide further details about this position!
