You will be responsible for transforming complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions, working cross-functionally with business stakeholders, functional analysts, Architecture, QA, and other technical teams. In addition to possessing solid backend Java development experience, we seek a candidate capable of performing and leading functional and technical analysis, making design decisions, and **coordinating people and development teams**, providing technical guidance, tracking initiatives, and ensuring deliverable quality. **Key responsibilities and requirements.** **Key responsibilities and requirements** * Minimum of **10 years of software development experience**, with a strong track record in backend Java development and enterprise solution design. * Demonstrable experience in **coordinating people and technical teams**, including activity tracking, task assignment and prioritization, technical mentoring, and deliverable coordination. * Serve as the team’s technical reference, providing guidance and support to other developers and promoting consistent application of sound development practices. * Lead or conduct functional and technical analysis of initiatives, reviewing requirements defined by business stakeholders or functional analysts and ensuring they can be transformed into viable technical solutions. * Proactively identify incomplete or ambiguous requirements, risks, impacts, dependencies, and inconsistencies, proposing alternatives and facilitating decision-making. * Actively participate in defining architecture and lead technical design of solutions within your scope of responsibility. * Collaborate with Architecture teams to ensure compliance with corporate technology standards and proper platform evolution. * Produce and validate effort, complexity, and impact estimates, supporting initiative planning and prioritization. * Design and oversee implementation of robust, maintainable, secure, and scalable backend solutions. * Lead technical and code reviews, ensuring application of design patterns, SOLID principles, and sound software engineering practices. * Coordinate with functional analysts, architects, QA, business stakeholders, and other technical teams to ensure end-to-end correct development of initiatives. * Supervise unit and integration test strategy, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to acceptance criteria. * Ensure technical quality of solutions prior to production release and participate in decision-making regarding critical incidents or risks. * Coordinate and participate in deployment, rollout, and warranty period preparations. * Lead analysis of complex incidents, ensuring root cause identification and defining actions to improve application stability, performance, and resilience. * Drive continuous team improvement by identifying opportunities for technical optimization, automation, code quality enhancement, and architectural evolution. * Facilitate communication between technical and functional profiles, clearly and structurally explaining technical decisions to both technical teams and business stakeholders. **Essential technical requirements** * Advanced experience with **Java 11/17 or later**. * Proficiency in **Spring Framework**: Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security. * Advanced experience in designing and developing **REST APIs**. * **JPA / Hibernate**. * Solid experience in designing and developing **microservice architectures**. * Mastery of **design patterns and SOLID principles**. * Experience integrating systems via REST services. * Solid experience with relational databases such as **Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or equivalents**. * **Git**, plus experience with versioning strategies and collaborative workflows. * **Maven or Gradle**. * Solid experience with **CI/CD tools and processes**. * Experience defining and executing unit and integration tests using **JUnit and Mockito**. * Experience with code analysis and quality assurance tools. **Highly desirable** * Experience with **Docker** and **Kubernetes/OpenShift**. * Experience designing distributed systems with high availability, performance, and scalability. * Solid knowledge of event-driven architectures (**EDA**). * Experience with **Apache Kafka**. * Experience with **Neo4j** and/or graph databases. * Experience with observability tools such as **AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, or ELK**. * Experience optimizing application resources, performance, and scalability. * Technical leadership ability and experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams. * Ability to operate autonomously when facing complex problems or scenarios involving incomplete or ambiguous requirements. * Communication skills, business stakeholder
