MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES FUNCTION DESCRIPTION **Washing and sorting dirty laundry**. Receive dirty laundry and maintain organized separation by customer. Sort dirty laundry into categories according to each customer's specifications. Load and unload washing machines and wash tunnels, as well as program them according to the type of laundry and washing cycle. Resolve minor blockages in equipment within the dirty area (press, aerial loading). Access the interior of the tunnel or conveyor zone when required to resolve a blockage. **Processing clean laundry** Insert garments into finishing presses either automatically or manually. Manually fold items that cannot be folded using equipment. Separate soiled, poorly pressed, or damaged laundry from acceptable pieces according to procedure. Transport batches of clean laundry within the clean area using tubs or carts designated for this task. Load and unload dryers and pick-up units, as well as operate and program them. Select appropriate pressing and folding programs for each machine. Participate in rejection tasks and customer changeovers. **Dispatch** Prepare clean laundry carts, paying special attention to the arrangement of packages inside the cart. Laundry must be loaded into the cart according to established procedures, correcting any possible errors during the process. Organize and verify that the parking order of completed carts complies with the established planning. Prepare orders assigned by their direct supervisor. Create load lists and/or draft delivery notes. Check completion status of customers included in a delivery route. Monitor final product quality. Neatly arranged packages and carts with closed covers. Weigh clean laundry and closed carts. Complete any records necessary for carrying out their duties. Conduct inventories and control warehouse stock of in-use linens. **Plant equipment operations** Turn on and off laundry, head-end, or computer equipment. Operate laundry equipment in manual mode or to resolve minor breakdowns
