Job Description
Mission:
Support the Urban Services Planning Department in managing the technological control platform for the integrated management services of the project "Street and Beach Cleaning in Almeria".
Responsibilities:* Support the department in managing the technological platform in collaboration with the Service Manager.
* Participate in managing and updating information within the technological platform, supported by technical staff from various contracts (containers, sectors, routes, vehicles, etc.)
* Participate in fleet monitoring and maintenance, collaborating with the workshop manager to optimize and configure: vehicle maintenance, consumption, inspection dates, emissions, etc.
* Participate in managing and organizing work teams jointly with responsible personnel regarding the technological platform.
* Collaborate in analyzing, designing, and implementing improvement proposals for the benefit of the contract.
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:* Expected start date in September 2025.
* Availability to complete a 6-month internship either part-time or full-time (preferably full-time availability (35 hours/week)).
* Ability to sign a training agreement with the university.
* Background in Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering, Geography, or related fields.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Experience with GIS systems (Qgis, ArcGis, Autocad, etc.). Full-time availability (35 weekly hours) during 6 months is valued.

**What we are looking for**
At Cosentino, we are seeking a candidate to join a challenging project within the Production area at our Fabrication plant. You will undergo a 12-month training period at our site in Cantoria (Almería), and after completing the training period, you will take responsibility for one of our fabrication plants in the USA, where you will support the production process and implement improvements to production operations.
**Your main responsibilities**
* Define and implement control systems and processes necessary to identify deviations in production, applying appropriate corrective measures.
* Coordinate the implementation of controls for monitoring production.
* Collaborate on research projects, pilot tests, etc.
* Provide technical support to factory units.
* Develop technical specifications and manuals for new products and production processes.
* Optimize and improve existing production processes by identifying deficiencies.
**What you need to succeed**
**Education:** Industrial Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) or related field.
**Experience and Knowledge:**
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing industrial production processes.
- Process engineering.
- Production planning and organization.
- Continuous improvement methodologies.
- Automation systems.
- Advanced English (C1 level): A proficiency test will be conducted at the beginning of the recruitment process.
- Geographic mobility for relocation to the USA.
