Production Operator

Description

We are seeking staff to work in the kitchen of a food production facility in A Pobra do Caramiñal. Main responsibilities include assisting in food preparation, handling raw materials and finished products, and following procedures to ensure quality and safety. The work area must also be kept clean and organized, complying with food hygiene regulations. The candidate will join the production team to ensure efficient workflow and achievement of daily targets. Prior experience in similar roles—especially in the hospitality sector—is valued, although previous factory experience is not mandatory. Adaptability and teamwork skills are essential. Working hours are in the afternoon, typically from 16:00 to 20:00, but may vary according to production needs; occasionally, night shifts may be required once the role is fully understood. This is a physically demanding position involving prolonged standing and handling of moderate loads. The company provides necessary training on safety protocols and food handling. The initial contract is temporary, with a part-time schedule of 25 hours per week. The salary is €9.50 gross per hour. No specific formal qualification is required. Experience in sectors such as hospitality, performing duties analogous to those described, is sought. Immediate availability to start the position is mandatory. Once familiar with the role, punctual availability to cover night shifts—as required by production needs—is essential.
